History: Cory hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Cory alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

History: Thomas was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Painter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor.
