History: Alex was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. In his 19th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was born in the south. Roland was born on a far southern mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Miller. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it

History: He was born into a rich family. Through the years after Arnold was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Arnold's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Arnold and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the west. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He now owns his own business.
