Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Bernard grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He came across an abandoned tomb where he found a relic that called out to him. After picking it up he was cursed by vampirism.
