History: The child of a Carpenter, who enjoyed hunting, Bertram was taken on many hunting expeditions. He always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Description: With grey face paint in a stripe pattern across his face, he wears a green shirt, with a white mid length shorts with white tights and flats, usually wearing a coat over them. His auburn hair and beard is wavy and long. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines amber.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He is stubborn though. He always likes to keep a trick up his sleeve. He likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if he feels he even has a chance of losing.

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. Being a Mayor kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and to share knowledge with the world

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He became a Mortician soon after.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north; and money/treasure
