History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He has worked as a Sellsword like his father before him.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and to reunite with his old friends

History: Born in the east to a Weaver, Roland learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.
