Personality: Bernard hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his music career. The war was a terrible time for him, and Bernard does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He has had some formal music training, and achieved minor success. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Bernard was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the gnolls.

Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found.
