History: He was born in the west. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and he has money and likes to spend it

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He is a font of random trivia from the lore and stories he has discovered

History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the west. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, orcs burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the west, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying west to reunite his family. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.
