History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He has achieved small success as a Bather.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his mother.

History: John was born with his mother's beautiful face. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving John alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.
