History: Lance was born with his mother's beautiful face. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He wants revenge against dire rats; and many dire rats want him driven away

Description: This slender man stands about 5'9". He wears many layers of old clothing at all times. His red hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: John is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving John alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and many giants want him driven away

Description: He wears a tan tunic with grey highlights, and long brown pants that bunch up around his shoes, and he perpetually has his ceremonial dagger ready. His long chestnut hair reaches down to his waist. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing writing.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Nicholas fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. He takes great pride in his work and is very well organized. His planner is full of calendar events.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Merchant. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: He is wracked by social anxiety; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg
