Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: Born in the west to a Courier, Gomory learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Courier work with an outfit from a few towns over. Courier work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 11 years.

Description: He is of a modest build and height, but he carries himself more imposing than he is. He dresses well, typically a more casual-formal manner. With a patchy golden beard and wild golden hair. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Laborer but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: John was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Theodoric embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his writing with anyone who is interested.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. His first spouse was a Unemployed, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Unemployed they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Soapmaker, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found.

He has done his best to style his auburn hair to look like a famous performer. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Mortician for hire.

Motivation: He feels threatened by others; and he's looking for his big break

Description: This man wears a large hat to cast shadows over his face and wears ponchos to better hide his body. He has a penchant for wearing a ring with an oversized aquamarine on his left hand. He is bald on top and has large auburn tufts of hair around his ears. His fierce blue eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with writing. He constantly tries to fill his life with writing. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers
