History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Interpreter. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His arcane abilities were realized during a raid on his village. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by drow. Ernest was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the drow.
