History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the north. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, John has worked very hard to control his curse. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. John fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Simon was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Through the years after Simon was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Simon's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
