Description: 5'7" and muscular, this northern man very much looks the part of a Barkeep. His head has been shaved. His green eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage son.

History: Don was born the youngest of three triplets. His first spouse was a Brewer, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He became a Barkeep soon after.

Description: What flesh remains visible is marred by burns. He tends to wear a large black jacket. He keeps his white hair in a pixie cut. He wears an eyepatch.

Personality: He hates Humans with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His parents were killed by brigands in a raid when he was still a young child. The brigands captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Lance was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the brigands.

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Bertram grew up listening to his father's many stories. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: Wants his loneliness to end.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern.

Description: He wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty green coat over it. He carries with him a set of greataxes, each one with a amber on the hilt. He only wears one on his belt and the other on his back. His brown hair has been sun bleached extensively. His brown eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of brigands once and for all.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Aldous was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Aldous was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the brigands.
