Personality: He is a Carter first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. Jocelyn was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Jocelyn decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Carter responsibilities is difficult.

Personality: This man loves singing and to teach people singing more than just about anything. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has never given up on his singing dream.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things; and wants to work out more often

Description: This northern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He wears a brown cloak and cross-gartered blue stockings. His red hair has been sun bleached extensively. His eyes are brown and beady.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of orcs once and for all.

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. His parents were killed by orcs in a raid when he was still a young child. The orcs captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: Wants his loneliness to end; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and he desires to right it

Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He wears suspenders and green workpants. His shirt is white, and he wears a heavy green leather apron most of the time. His long black hair reaches down to his waist. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the south. When Thomas reached his early adolescence his Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
