Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. After a long history of fighting, Bernard and his spouse have recently divorced.

He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines blue.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Healer. He tends to his Healer job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Healer responsibilities is difficult; and sabotage a competitor

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: He got into the Sage business at a young age. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He's also a talented Marshal, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and money/treasure

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Description: This fat northern man has a bulbous nose and is wearing a long, black cloak. His skin is also unnaturally pale. He wears his hair in dreadlocks. His eyes are brown and beady.

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: Born to a Priest, his father struggled to pay the bills. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions
