Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of gnolls may trigger it at times.

History: He was born in a small island village. He took after his father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his father taught him to defend himself. When his father died while fighting gnolls, the young Kody began to lead the lost caravan. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: A deep hatred of gnolls; and he wants revenge against gnolls

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Navigator profession.

History: Robert was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Miner. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Description: A man with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. He wears dark leathers with embroidery. His brown hair is long and unkept. He has gleaming, smiling amber eyes.

Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: Lance lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers

Personality: He hates Humans with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: To clean up the streets; and he is terrified, and will act out of fear
