To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Simon. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Server they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Carter, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Description: He does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. He carries with him a set of daggers, each one with a emerald on the hilt. He only wears one on his belt and the other on his back. Sporting a chestnut mohawk and bushy mustache this man's hair draws a lot of attention. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: He considers himself the perfect gentleman. He makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. He is an amazing painter.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Ostracized due to the necromantic powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: Frederick was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere.
