Description: This western man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized green coat. His small hat is riddled with cuts and holes. He wears an eyepatch.

Personality: He is quiet and unassuming. He ignores others and carries on with his job unassumingly. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: Born to a Cartwright, his mother struggled to pay the bills. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Engraver. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

History: Bernard was born in the west. At a young age he loved to build and create. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the west were limited. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Description: This light-skinned male wears a suit in poor condition. It has not been laundered in sometime and has been worn in activities one would not normally wear a suit during. He is tall, broad shouldered and powerfully built. His hair is always cut to a buzz. He has blue eyes.

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

Description: A pudgy man standing about 5'10" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He wears a custom-built plate barding that's adorned with tan lining and desert motifs. He has dyed his greying black hair a little too much giving a sharp black color. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Mortician and was forced into it by his family; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg
