History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has dedicated himself to building a better kind of golem.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Gifted from a young age, Miles studied abroad. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Born in the north to a Courier, Roland learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 13 years.
