History: Gilbert hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. Through the years after Gilbert was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Gilbert's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Gilbert and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it.

Gunter was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Being a Herbalist kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored.
