History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Shane alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His psionic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.
