History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Some 10 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Bertram never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Personality: Hugh hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his painting career. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Priest but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: Hugh was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has never given up on his painting dream.

Description: This late middle aged man is armored in gleaming platemail with gilded edges. A flowing blue cape and mantle trimmed with soft brown waves gently in the breeze and is in decent physical shape. He wears a deerstalker hat to hide his balding. His eyes are likewise amber. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He is stubborn though. He always likes to keep a trick up his sleeve. He likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if he feels he even has a chance of losing.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable; and he is greedy

Description: He dresses in green turtlenecks beneath a blue coat with brown slacks, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 5'9" when asserting himself. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His green eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: He is a sleazy, sleazy guy. He has no qualms about using his powers of suggestion to get people to do what he wants. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: Born in the south to a Doctor, Drogo learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it; and he desires power and/or immortality
