History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Miner. He became a Miner soon after.

Description: He wears a white coat over a brown low-cut shirt, and a top hat upon his head. His skin is fair and his fingers are delicate and long. He wears his silver hair up. He has gleaming, smiling amber eyes.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. Thomas enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Born in the south to a Fortune-teller, Thomas learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He's also a talented Laborer, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it

Description: He wears a tight fitting brown shirt and pants. His head has been shaved. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He feels threatened by others.

Description: Standing 5'7", this man is generally well dressed albeit a few years behind the times. He has done his best to style his blonde hair to look like a famous performer. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.

History: Hunter was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Butcher.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

Description: This man wears tan robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a spear, but if one is not available he will default to his hand crossbow, and sports empty pouches on his belt. He wears a top hat to hide his balding. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his green eyes.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Anthony will drive conversation. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.

History: Anthony hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Anthony alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Anthony was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge.
