History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Heward grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Heward. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

History: He was born in the west. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Shane has worked very hard to control his curse. He became a Layabout soon after.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. Through the years after Kyle was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Kyle's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has worked as a Miner like his mother before him.

He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. A friendly and beautiful Human, he is rarely seen without a few beauties around his arms. Though a playboy in all rights, he is no lame duck.

History: Ernest was born with his mother's beautiful face. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.
