History: The child of a Bricklayer, who enjoyed hunting, Charles was taken on many hunting expeditions. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the south. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Slave Trader hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Born to a Performer, his mother struggled to pay the bills. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Performer they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Apothecary, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Description: This man is bedraggled and starved. He wears a green shirt, with a yellow mid length shorts with yellow tights and flats, usually wearing a coat over them. He wears a wide-brimmed hat to hide his balding. He has gray eyes.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Guy embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Arnold grew up listening to his father's many stories. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
