He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered painting. Now he works as a painting tutor during his time off.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered east to less war torn lands. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Dean fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Raymond is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: He was born in the east. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He has achieved small success as a Butcher.

Motivation: To be a Layabout again; and balancing his hectic life and new butcher responsibilities is difficult
