History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Alexandre grew up listening to his father's many stories. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and he desires power and/or immortality

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: Theobald hails from a village terrorized by illithids. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: Born in the north to a Soapmaker, Alex learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and he has money and likes to spend it
