History: Charles hails from a village terrorized by drow. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Ruler hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Gunter's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
