Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

History: Ernest was born with his father's beautiful face. In his 13th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He takes great joy in being the best Sellsword in town.

History: Kyle was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He married young, but lost his spouse to gnolls. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: Revenge; and balancing his hectic life and new sellsword responsibilities is difficult

He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge
