Personality: Bertram is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.

Description: 5'11" and lanky with angular features, he is an attractive figure. He wears a simple grey robe with green stripes complete with hood. His hair, while still mostly blonde, has prominent grey streaks. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He takes great pride in his work and is very well organized. His planner is full of calendar events.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Patrick grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Patrick. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Dilettante.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact.

Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the south. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: He is greedy.

History: Gerald was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He tends to his Shepherd job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: To clean up the streets; and he would like to get married and retire

Description: With black face paint in a stripe pattern across his face, he prefers to wear red clothing when he does not wear armor. He has no hair. His eyes are gray and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He is ready at a moment's notice to give into his darker urges. He is a real pyromaniac and does not care who the fire hurts. He often ends up burning people alive in the fires he starts.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help
