Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. He always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He's also a talented Spice Merchant, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: He was born into a rich family. Through the years after Anselm was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Anselm's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He now spends his time doing works of charity.
