History: Gilbert was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Gardener they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Barrister, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. Lewis enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He was born in a small plains village. Lewis was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Lewis decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He bought a scythe and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac.

He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He receives visions of the future at random moments

History: He got into the Blacksmith business at a young age. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Blacksmith. He tends to his Blacksmith job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor.

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Roland liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

History: Ralf lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion
