History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Through the years after Adelard was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Adelard's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.
