He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: Kody hails from a village terrorized by giants. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Kody grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Kody. He struck the Layabout job and began his own company from there.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, John was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared.
