History: Roland hails from a village terrorized by giants. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the west; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Description: An imposing man with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic right leg, he prefers to wear black clothing when he does not wear armor. His tied-back hair is red. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. Being a Tanner kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A freak accident while working with his Roofer father left him crippled. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often.

Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Through the years after Thomas was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Thomas's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and wants to work out more often
