History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: Gifted from a young age, Roland studied abroad. His childhood dream was to be a Ploughman, but he was a colossal failure. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and he desires to right it; and to reunite with his old friends

History: Trey was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

History: He got into the Engraver business at a young age. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
