He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

He only wears one on his belt and the other on his back. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Born in the south to a Dilettante, Bertram learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Shepherd they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Dilettante, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: A deep hatred of dire rats; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it

Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He is generally shirtless and showing off his tattooed chest. His silver hair is matted, messy, and big. His brown eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: Roger is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: The child of a Scribe, who enjoyed hunting, Roger was taken on many hunting expeditions. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break.

Personality: He acts crazy and hedonistic. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: Born to a Shipwright, his father struggled to pay the bills. At a young age his father died while driving off some gnolls. His mother being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in shortbow use. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He wants revenge against gnolls; and many gnolls want him driven away

His white hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. His half smiles and green eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: He likes to be helpful to his clients. He likes to prescribe proper advice to his clients. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Healer.
