Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it; and someone believes him a fraud

History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Layabout. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Adam was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the giants.
