History: He was born in a small desert village. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, brigands burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying north to reunite his family. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Gerald was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the brigands.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered east to less war torn lands. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often.

His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature bastard sword.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. A gifted student he started as a Jeweler, but he got bored and became a Butcher. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Butcher responsibilities is difficult; and he wants to meet his childhood hero
