Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Carter born in the past three hundred years. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: Rolf lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Carter for hire.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Carter responsibilities is difficult; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the east. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away; and wants to have a good time and be beloved

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: Gilbert was born with his mother's beautiful face. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Map Maker hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. His psionic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: He would like to get married and retire; and wants to have a good time and be beloved
