History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Chad was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He's also a talented Tanner, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Knight they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Shoemaker, and he later adopted a second daughter.
