History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. He always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and someone believes him a fraud

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it
