Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and doesn't want to be a spice merchant and was forced into it by his family

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 11 years.

His right leg appears badly burned and disfigured. His golden hair is unkempt and raggedy. His amber eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes giants are coming to abduct people. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: He was raised in a mountains tribe. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Mason hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and meet up once more with his childhood friend

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs.
