History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Henry grew up listening to his mother's many stories. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Kody fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He worked as a nervous Stylist and found it very stressful. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Stylist for the past few years.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and balancing his hectic life and new stylist responsibilities is difficult

Personality: He hates brigands. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. Manfred enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Manfred hails from a village terrorized by brigands. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it; and a deep hatred of brigands
