History: His divine talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Shane took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up halberd and armor he uses now. He was granted divine powers by his dying sister.

History: Alex lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers; and regain custody of his son

Personality: Aldous speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: Aldous was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. His parents enrolled him in a Fighter school at a young age so that he could practice his martial talents. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature club.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Human artifacts is his passion; and he desires power and/or immortality

Personality: Gomory hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his poetry career. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Shipwright arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever
