History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Miles alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Miles was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

Motivation: He wants revenge against dire rats.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Adam grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Adam. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

Personality: He is quiet and unassuming. He ignores others and carries on with his job unassumingly. He invites people to come help in his community garden.

History: Born in the east to a Spice Merchant, Adelard learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg.

Description: He wears tan painted combat armor at almost all times. He has relatively light skin and is very physically imposing due to his abundance of muscles. His hair, while still mostly auburn, has prominent grey streaks. He wears an eyepatch.

Personality: The man has a huge range of feeling. He will range from being happy and joking with the occasional self put down to crying stating how he will be a better person from this day on. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Description: He appears as an extremely gaunt Human, and stands approximately 5'8". He is renowned for his bright green suits and hats, and his gloved hand is found clutching a morningstar. His auburn hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a broad hat. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Banker but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His first spouse was a Merchant, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: A deep hatred of orcs; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage
