Through the years after Bernard was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Gilbert embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

He has a penchant for wearing a ring with an oversized aquamarine on his left hand. His chestnut hair is lengthy. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his gray eyes.

Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Sage. He receives visions of the future at random moments

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. A gifted student he started as a Bellfounder, but he got bored and became a Miller. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and further expansion of business
