History: William hails from a village terrorized by illithids. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the west. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Gardener. He became a Gardener soon after.

Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. Bertram enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the west were limited. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable; and he is a bit of a kleptomaniac
