History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when drow swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Through the years after Adelard was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and money/treasure

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally
