History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Kody was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the gnolls.

History: Ernest hails from a village terrorized by drow. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Ernest alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. After a long history of fighting, Hugh and his spouse have recently divorced.
